For explosive growth, hit your pastures with Fertco Ammo fertiliser.
While the integration of Dicalcic Phosphate into fertiliser programs lessens our customers’ reliance on bagged nitrogen, pasture nitrogen deficits will still occur.
During winter and early spring, pastures on all soil types need extra nitrogen and sulphur to maximise their growth potential.
To maximise production, then, it is well recognised that strategic Nitrogen application will be needed – particularly in early spring. Also during this time of year, many pasture experience sulphur deficiencies.
While sulphate of ammonia (SOA) can do a good job of overcoming these two deficiencies, it is generally expensive, results are short lived and its application is hard on a farm’s spreading equipment.
With these challenges in mind, Fertco set out to develop a new product that would deliver a powerful bang for your buck, and make application a breeze.
Fertco Ammo contains two types of Nitrogen, Ammonia and Urea and two types of sulphur, Sulphate and Elemental – making Fertco Ammo the silver bullet for explosive early pasture growth.
By including Brimstone90 in the blend, we’ve really taken Fertco Ammo to the next step. This reduces the spread rate and reduces the cost per hectare. In addition, it gives a significantly longer release rate of the sulphur, meaning in just one or two applications, your sulphur requirements for the entire spring are taken care of.
- 2 types of nitrogen and 2 types of sulphur in one application
- Significantly longer release of sulphur – fewer applications required
- Lessens spread rate
- Reduces cost per hectare
