Warwick Voyce | CEO
Born and raised on a King Country family farm, Warwick graduated from Massey University in the early 90’s and began his agricultural career with Wrightson’s Livestock and Finance. His first role in the fertiliser industry was with Farmers Fertiliser followed by BOP Fertiliser prior to working abroad for a number of years. On his return he worked for Ravensdown as a Sales Manager in the Waikato region.
Warwick was drawn to Fertco’s appetite for change within the industry and joined the company as CEO in 2006.

Bringing a wealth of Agri-knowledge from over 30 years in the industry, Arthur has worked with Fertco for over 10 years supporting long term customers and welcoming an increasing number of new customers every year.
Arthur’s specific areas of interest are in long term sustainable fertiliser practices that create nutrient efficiency through soil science, plant physiology and smart technology.
Andrew Marles | Sales Consultant
Bay of Plenty | Coromandel | Gisborne | East Cape
Educated at Christchurch Boys High and Lincoln College, Andrew has twenty years’ experience in the fertiliser industry and a lifetime in amenity and horticulture. He has a genuine interest in helping farmers and orchardists with any of their soil fertility issues and maximising the efficient and profitable use of fertiliser inputs.
Andrew has a passion for most things outdoors including hunting, shooting, fishing as well as farming.
Angela Churchill | Sales Consultant
Originally from Northland but now based in the Waikato Angela is passionate about our agricultural industry. Her first role in the Fertiliser industry was in 2005 with Summit Quinphos Fertilisers, where for the following 6 years she developed and recommended nutrient management and use programs that delivered improved profitability and sustainability for her farmer clients. In 2011 she took a role with LIC which focused on improving the quality and efficiency of the NZ dairy herd.
She graduated Massey University with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (with a major in Agriculture) and has also completed both the Sustainable Nutrient Management in New Zealand Agriculture and the Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management courses through Massey University.
Angela has a genuine interest in improving both pasture growth and animal health and production through the use of nutrients that are tailored to each individual farm. Angela enjoys working with farmers to achieve their individual farming goals.
Frances King | Sales Consultant
Frances was raised on a farm in the Northern King Country where she experienced a mixture of horticulture, dry stock, and deer farming. She started her 12-year farming career as a 50/50 Sharemilker in the King Country and Waikato, then moved into a Training Adviser role for Primary ITO where she mentored and supported people through their farming qualifications. For the past 5 years, she has worked as a Farm Solutions Manager for LIC, where she has helped dairy farmers to achieve their breeding goals.
With her farming background and her Diploma in Agribusiness Management, she enjoys helping clients to achieve profitable, sustainable outcomes for their businesses. She thrives on the challenge of continuous learning that the farming sector brings.
Simon Budd Horticultural | Sales Consultant
Bay of Plenty
Born and raised in the Bay of Plenty, Simon has spent the last thirty-six years in the horticulture industry. He has gained a wealth of technical and practical orchard experience including a number of years in Europe working with a range of horticultural crops. He has provided NZ kiwifruit and avocado grower’s nutrient recommendations for over fourteen years and holds a National Certificate in Horticulture and National Diploma in Horticulture from Lincoln University.
Simon is a “hands on” advisor and enjoys the challenges involved in obtaining the best outcomes for growers.
David James | Sales Consultant
Eastern Bay of Plenty
Based in Taupo, David covers the central plateau region for farming customers and the Lower Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay region for Horticulture. David began his career developing and managing an 8 ha kiwifruit orchard which lead him to be a horticultural representative and being involved in the dealing with horticultural customers. In recent years David was in chemical sales to the horticulture, farming and forestry industries.
“I have a keen win win approach where I get involved in the customer’s business. I am keen on the outdoor lifestyle that NZ offers, such as mountain biking, motor biking, water-skiing and tennis”. I am looking forward to being part of the Fertco Team.
Eli Barkway | Sales Consultant
With experience in many areas, Eli brings a fresh outlook to fertiliser; he is hands on, and offers his clients tailored solutions and support. Eli enjoys building strong relationships with his clients as he believes this is the foundation to achieving outstanding long term results.
Eli brings many years of experience in the agriculture industry, he has a passion for soil science, microbiology and is committed to making efficient and sustainable improvements through these processes.
Pete Buisson | Sales Consultant
Born in Taumarunui and attending school in Palmerston North, Pete also went to Flock House were he made life long friends and contacts. Having worked for a fertiliser company in the King Country for ten years Pete has a strong working knowledge of high analysis fertiliser products. Moving to Northland Pete owned a farm pasture drainage business for ten years through which he gained good relationships with many farmers.
Pete is passionate about working with farmers to add value to their businesses by utilising proven science based fertilser programmes and innovative products.
