Established in 2000, Fertco was formed by a group of farmers who wished to see a more environmentally friendly focused company that considered all aspects of farming when and advising on and supplying fertiliser.

Our factory and head office are located in Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty, servicing the greater North Island and encompassing the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Franklin, King Country, Taranaki, Dannevirke, Wanganui and Gisborne regions.
Fertco has nineteen full time employees including twelve field consultants based throughout the North Island. Our field consultants deal with all new and existing clients and are able to meet customers on a one to one basis to discuss and advise on individual requirements. In addition, they are able to carry out both soil and nutrient testing and offer expert advice on fertiliser requirements based on the test results.

All members of our sales staff, including the General Manager, have completed a Sustainable Nutrient Management course through Massey University and two staff members hold certificates in Advance Sustainable Nutrient Management. Environment Waikato recommends that you ask your field consultant whether or not they hold such qualifications prior to completing a Nutrient Management Plan for your farm. We also offer a full back-up service, meaning our customers can phone us for help or advice at any time.

Fertco offers a full range of fertilisers, our Cornerstone product being Dicalcic Phosphate. We also have a full range of lime products including G-Lime and Aviation Lime. Fertco also supplies traditional N P K and S fertilisers, along with all trace elements. Each fertiliser blend is specifically blended to the customers requirements. Horticultural mixes for kiwifruit, avocado, olives and citrus are offered and products such as Humate and Carbohydrate can be added if desired.
